Extra Wide Dog Collar & Violet Dog Collar

The wide handmade collar with hand stitching made from violet leather is extra wide. The alpine cow leather with a higher stiffness is tanned in Italy or Germany using one of the oldest leather tanning methods – vegetable tanning. Colored leather is chrome tanned. The two layers stitched with high-strength waxed threads with an overall thickness of 5 mm ensure maximum safety for your dog. Our leather dog collars come with a standard saddle buckle in a nickel roller version. The collar is suitable for all breeds regardless of the size of your dog – set the appropriate parameters.


Customize extra wide violet dog collar:

  • collar length, which should correspond to the circumference of the dog’s neck plus c. 1 cm (the neck size of the adult dog will go to the middle punch hole, for puppies the neck circumference will go to the first punch hole);
  • collar width depending on the size of the dog, from 4 cm to 7 cm;
  • leather color (see note on colors below);
  • the color of waxed thread;
  • the buckle;
  • supplemental decoration and studs – collars with a width of 3 cm have a single row of decoration and studs, while wider models can have two to three rows;
  • or stamping – we can stamp collars with your own monogram or the name of your dog. Simply select this option and enter the text to be stamped.

CARE

Beef leather doesn’t like water at all. Just like human skin. Water dries out leather, causing it to harden, change texture, crack. The best way to maintain and care for a leather product is by using a leather care product. Preferably a balm composed of fat, and beeswax additives. The fat lubricates the leather, and the beeswax then acts as an impregnating filter on the surface. It does not let in as much water. It is therefore best to treat the product with a balm before the first soak. If it does get wet, it is important to let the product dry naturally. Not in the sun, not on the heater, etc. And after such drying, the product needs to be re-impregnated.

NOTE ON PRODUCT COLOR

Skin tones are approximate and may vary slightly. This depends on the type of leather used. Also on the color of the device display used. Natural shades also darken over time.
